South Tyrol – a miniature paradise for golfers
From summit panoramas to meadowlands
South Tyrol is a small region that nevertheless offers an amazing variety of terrain for enthusiastic golfers, thanks to the diversity of its landscape, which is characterised by micro-climates and large differences in altitude. All golf courses can be quickly reached from the regional capital, Bozen, while each course offers unique insights into the magnificent natural scenery of the Dolomites.
South Tyrol owes its stable climate to the main ridge of the Alps, with relatively few rainy days and thus a long golf season. While the higher courses, such as Petersberg, Dolomiti Golf, Pustertal, Carezza, Alta Badia and St. Vigil guarantee pleasantly cool summer temperatures, Lana, Eppan and Passeier can all be played from March through to November.
